Common questions
Does VirtualRx work without internet?
Yes, in the desktop and mobile apps. Sales are saved on the device and sent to your account automatically when the connection returns, and a sale is never recorded twice. The web version needs internet.
Can I bring in my existing products?
Yes. Import products, opening stock and contacts from an Excel or CSV file. Batches and expiry dates can come in with the stock.
Does it track batches and expiry dates?
Yes. Record the batch and expiry of each delivery, see what is expiring on the dashboard and in the expiry report, and get a monthly alert by email.
Can I run more than one branch?
Yes. Each branch has its own stock, and you can move stock between branches and see sales and stock per branch. The number of branches depends on your plan.
Which devices can I use?
Any computer or tablet with a browser, the desktop app for Windows and Mac, and the mobile app for Android and iPhone.
Can I keep patient records?
Yes. Switch on the EMR in Settings to record patients, allergies, conditions, vitals, consultations and prescriptions, with refill and follow-up reminders.
Do you train my staff?
Yes. Virtual training and support are free all year on every plan. On-site training is available for a fee, depending on your location.
Is my data safe?
Your data lives in the cloud and is backed up every day to a separate location. Every member of staff has their own login and only the access you give them.
